Let’s Talk Rats: Boston Rodent Action Plan

In summer 2025, I collaborated with the City of Boston’s Creative Team to develop event graphics for the Boston Rodent Action Plan. While the core visual identity and design elements were created by BlackMath, I was responsible for translating the established branding into a flexible, event-ready flyer template.

As part of this work, I designed the “Let’s Talk Rats: Boston Rodent Action Plan” header bar. Drawing inspiration from the campaign’s comic book–style aesthetic, I extended that visual language through a bold, slanted yellow header positioned at an angle to evoke motion and energy—mirroring the dynamic text treatments commonly found in comic art. This approach helped maintain consistency with the campaign’s branding while adding visual emphasis to event-specific information.

The final design was adapted across multiple formats, including an 8.5 x 11-inch flyer, an Instagram 4:5 graphic, and a digital advertisement. The Boston Rodent Action Plan campaign officially launched using these assets, positioning the event series with a cohesive and recognizable visual presence across print and digital platforms.
